I am having difficulty getting the hood to come open on my 93 Accord.
When I pull the release handle, the hood pops up and everything seems
ok. However, when I go to the front of the car to fully release the
hood, the hood lever up front basically does nothing. It doesn't seem
to move at all when I press it.

Anyone know how to get the hood the rest of the way open?

You just got the car, or you've never checked the oil since you got it?
Tell us more . .
Have you asked a helper to give the hood a bit of help when you pull the
release?
