After having new (BFGoodrich) tires installed,
I've noticed the left wheel and right wheel both have treads that direct towards the right, in other words, identical tires are installed on both left and right wheels, while the treads on the tire itself is asymmetric... I know nothing about tires. It is marked as "radial" (does that mean anything?) My question is is that normal? I thought the treads direct water away so the left tire should be mirror image of the right tire... is that not true? I see nowhere saying it is directional tire (is that the right name?) BTW the picture of the tire tread looks like this http://www.bfgoodrichtires.ca/images...ring_large.jpg Thanks, any pointer is appreciated. |
