Default Looking for Aftermarket key fob for 01 Accord

I am looking for an aftermarket key fob (for keyless entry and alarm)
for my 2001 Accord. Everything is factory on the car, including the
alarm.

I DO NOT WANT A HONDA KEY FOB!! I have had it with the design. The
location of the panic button, being a strip has the key ring press it
several times a day and it is driving me nuts.

Who makes a replacement key fob for this car that is not Honda and is a
different design?

This is the first car that I have had where the key fob is constantly
triggering the panic alarm. I have temporarily solved the problem by
tearing out the panic button, but this is a poor solution as it exposes
the pc-board to the dirt in my pocket.

The unit is also constantly opening the trunk and locking the doors
(after I just unlocked them) without my obvious input. Do others have
the same problem?

Can anyone offer advice to a frustrated motorist?

it's not a key fob, it's a remote transmitter.

Anyway, just go to a local car electronics shop and have them put in an
aftermarket system of your choice.

Everything else works. I am don't think replacing an entire system
because one small component is poorly designed is an appropriate
choice. I don't have unlimited funds.

But it's very cheap--under $100.

I have never heard of this problem. I have the same remote for my
car and never had an issue. Must be something you are doing.

----------------------------------

The alarm system manual says it's supposed to relock your doors within
20(?) seconds if you don't open a door (maybe your door switch is dead)
It's to prevent your car sitting unlocked if you accidentally unlock it
as you're walking away from it.

You can get cool 'slip covers' for the fobs that keep them looking new
and they make the buttons harder to push accidentally.
