The other day I replace one of my rear brake calipers on my 1998 Acura
Integra do to the piston being stuck. Once I put the new on one, bled it, and reattaching the parking brake cable, the parking brake will not engage on that side. The hydrolic portion of the caliper engages fine when applying pressure to the brake pedal. I have also tightened up the parking brake cable at the adjustment point under the center console, and that didn't help either. Does any one have any ideas on what else it could be? Is it a faulty new caliper? Any suggestions would be extremely helpful, since I am out of ideas. |
