Hello,
Last week I posted regarding my accord 2001 skidding in rain when turning a corner. I have since had the tires checked at Wal-mart where I purchased them. They measured the existing tread left to be 6/32 on all tires and say that I would new tires in 6 mos timeframe. These tires are GoodYear VIVA Touring tires and I have bought the tire protection so they would pay replacement if I waited until the tread got to 4/32. The front tires were purchased about 14 months ago and have less than 10,000 miles on them. What are the opinions of those in the forum? Is it worth waiting another 6 mos with 6/32 left of tread? I do plan on doing some road trips this fall. Thanks for any advice! |
