Anyone put tires on an Accord of this vintage recently with any
recommendations?

I have four BF Goodrich that are three years old and need to go. Three
have bubbles, and I've only driven maybe 30k miles in that time. A
never-again purchase. Had better luck with Michelins in the past --
don't know much about the various models other than their pricing, but
was thinking about going with them.

Plus, to whatever extent it matters, I tend to prefer getting tires
from one of the chains, since their ubiquity increases the chance of
seamless warranty replacement/repair should the occasion arise.

I've put about 10,000 miles so far on a set of Goodyear Regatta 2's on my
'93 Accord. They are smooth and quiet, and have decent winter traction for
an all season tire (although I would still recommend winter tires for that).
There is some body roll in hard cornering, but it's not a performance tire
(it's designated as a "touring" tire). Others have told me that tread wear
is very good.

From what I have read, other good choices include:

Bridgestone Turanza LS-T
Toyo Spectrum
Kumho Touring 795
BF Goodrich Traction T/A (T-rated)
Michelin Harmony (although they are probably more expensive than the others)

The Goodyear Assurance ComforTred and TripleTred seem to get good reviews.
However, because they are still fairly new models, tread wear remains a
question mark.

I have a 1993 Accord and I recently wore out a set of Michelin X-Ones
which were excellent. Since the Accord doesn't insulate one from road
noise very well, a big consideration for a replacement set of tires
was tire noisiness. I bought a set of Michelin Harmony P185/70R14's
based on the examination of a 15 inch sample tire in the showroom and
based on reviews on tirerack. The 15 inch tire has a different tread
pattern than the set of 14 inch tires I bought. The 15 inch tire has
five rows of tread with the center row being unbroken. I reckoned the
unbroken center row would make for a quiet highway ride, but alas
the 14 inch tires I bought have only four rows of tread with tall
freely floating tread blocks which makes for very whiny tires above
45mph. In all other respect these tires are excellent, though.

I put Cooper's on my 90 accord. I did it out of loyalty because there
is a cooper factory in my town and many close friends work there.
However, what I've noticed is that I get really good life out of them.

They had two grades of standard MS radials. I chose the less
expensive for my 90 accord thinking I was going to sell it in less
than six months. Still have it 18 months and 12000 (teenager driven)
miles later and don't see any significant wear.

I use cooper's on all my vehicles and have good luck with them all.

The LS-T seems to be an expensive choice, unless you have some real need for
that quality of a tire. ( I got em on my Taurus Wagon )

Well, the Turanza LS-T still costs less than the Harmony. At tirerack.com,
the LS-T is currently $64 for the 185/70-14 size, while the Harmony is $77.

I had really bad luck with coopers, put a set of Cobra GTHs on my 98 civic.
after about 4 months and 15000 kms, they started to vibrate really badly.
Took them back to the dealer, and they kept feeding me this line about how it
was my suspension causing the racket. So we put a pair of tires on the front
and went for a spin. No shakes or vibrations. I got new tires from the
dealer.

This time I went with Pirelli P3000s. The most amazing tire I've ever owned.
I got 120000kms out of them (which is freakin amazing considering the roads
in Manitoba), performance was awesome and i never had one problem with them
