Hello All
I rebuilt my daughters 91 SI last winter, after determining it had some head aches... Broken valve and a bent valve. Did the rings, valves, guides all gaskets, and after an easy 2000 km break-in, it happily passed the emission test. A couple of months later it started to use oil, and now is using about a litre a week. It gets driven about 125 kms a day on the highway, (work and back) puts out some noticeable smoke on accelerating, tho I haven't followed it down the road to confirm highway speed smoking. Anyone had this experience....?, with what solution. Thanx for any help Ray |

It's my guess that you must have done something wrong. I suggest that you do a compression test to determine if I am right or wrong.
