I have LX 2005. It has an AUX button in the front but I cannot see any
AUX input anywhere in the front. Can anybody tell me where is the AUX input located and how can I access it? Any recommedations for the AUX adaptor from the mp3 player (earphone output) to the AUX input of the OEM stereo. I forgot to mention, I have only the basic CD player and the radio that comes with LX. I did not go in for a cassette player because I thought managing tapes is a pain and I decided to digitize all my tapes into CD's Thanks for your help |

You must add the MP3 player accessory, then the AUX button will function.

Thanks for your reply. Does it imply, I need to open up the dash board
to take the stereo out? Is there any way of looking at it without opening up stufff? Is there an installation manual that explains how to open it up? |

Thank you for your reply. Does it mean, I need to open up the
dashboard, the front coffee cup holders to remove the stereo. Is there any other way of making sure I have the jack on the stereo before I buy the cable? Is there any installation manual?` |

This is intended for a cassette or CD changer, but the P.I.E adapter plugs in there. My MP3 player appears as a CD changer that's always on disc one track one. http://www.logjamelectronics.com/piehon98aux.html PIE HON98-AUX Auxiliary Input Converter I didn't pull the radio out. I took the console out and could reach up to plug the adapter in to the empty jack. http://makeashorterlink.com/?C1D73243B remove the standard Honda stereo - doled - rec.autos.maker.honda -- --- Clarence A Dold - Hidden Valley (Lake County) CA USA 38.8,-122.5 |

It just passes audio. There are two RCA phono jacks for connection from the MP3 player. The audio is clean, unlike the cassette and FM adapters that I've tried. -- --- Clarence A Dold - Hidden Valley (Lake County) CA USA 38.8,-122.5 |

What you get is vanilla RCA inputs, of which you can plug any stereo source into. |
