Well I picked up my new 05 LX-G 4 cyl 5 speed manual, Graphite Pearle
yesterday, so now I have to carefully break the engine in. I had a hitch installed on it today. In the manual it says to wait until the car has atleast 1000km (600miles) before towing. Why is this? or can I tow anyways? 2nd question? I've heard some pople say that I should not wash the fresh paint for one month? I want to wax my new baby as soon as possible. I am using Simonize 100 Canuba liquid wax. 3rd question? Should I change the OEM tires that came with the car? Micheline MX4 Energy P195/65R15 92H I've read that those tires are not worth much? Thank you; Rick |

Follow the manufacturer's recommendations. They make such recommendations for a reason. You could also be going down the road at 80mph and suddenly cut the wheel as far left as you can; really, there's no reason not to. |

Try the OEM tires for a while, I don't think many people come close to the limit of any tire and people who complain about wet weather handling, they must be driving unsuitably for the conditions because I never felt "unsafe" with proper driving matched to the conditions. |
