I don't have the GPS navigation package - just the big stereo and A/C
display. It's completely invisible now. All the other dash and
interior lights work fine. The stereo itself does work and so does the
A/C system although it's pretty hard to blindly adjust either.

The dashboard dimmer operates as usual, except that the radio backlight
is totally dark.

This is baffling - I don't think there's a separate fuse for the
backlight since it draws so little power.

It is a known and very common problem. There is a TSB on it and it is
covered by warranty. The radio has to be replaced.
