Default Need a jack for 2000 Cr-v

My CR-v I bought used and it didn't come with a jack. Fortunately I
found that out when I was in my driveway.

Any suggestions of where to pick one up?

Are you quite sure you _do_ know where the jack is stored on a 2000
CR-v? It's not in the tailgate or the small compartments that are visible.

I thought I did. I look under the picnic table, looked in the
compartment on the tailgate. I check the two side compartments to the
left and right of the picnic table. I checked the small door at the
lower half of the tailgate about (16"w x 5"t)

Where should I be looking?

I can't remember exactly, but have you checked ** under ** the plastic tub
that's under the picnic table? I think it's screwed in there.

You need an owner's manual. The jack is under the 'beer cooler'. Remove
the four plastic pins. You have to turn the crank a bit to release it,
and when you put it back you turn it the other way to lock it in place
so it won't rattle.

1-800-782-4356 is the toll-free North American number to order the manual.

The first paragraph on the first page of every Honda manual says: "The
owner's manual should be considered a permanent part of the vehicle, and
should remain with the vehicle when it is sold"

Keep in mind that the manual has two glaring errors in it. The valves
need adjusting and the Dual Pump Fluid need changing every 30,000 miles,.

It is under the rear seats.
