I can't say for your exact model of Civic, but in general: Remove the park lamps Remove the plastic that covers the front bumper Remove plastic splash panels under the rad. Drain the rad Remove the fan assembly. This gets complicated if you have air conditioning. Remove the wiring to the temp sensor Remove the hoses attached to the rad. Remove the rad. You need tools, a place to work, and I strongly advise a proper Honda shop manual, not one of those Haynes things. When removing plastic fairings there is always one more obscurely located bolt, screw or clip that will drive you nuts. You need a manual that shows where they are. |

no no no don't touch the lamps nor the bumper cover ..it is very easy to
replace rad ..just disconnect both radiator hoses it is easier to get access to lower hose from under car after removing plastic splash shield, wiring going to fan motor, the fan assembly can come with radiator you can r+r with radiator out of car.. the bolts that hold radiator in place and voila' |
