To alleviate that little problem, buy one of these: http://www.sportys.com/acb/showdetl....Product_ID=798 It's a $9 hose to attach to the spare's valve, making it easy to check the pressure. You leave it permanently attached to the spare's valve (except, of course, when you need to *use* the tire... if you can remove it in the first place... ). ![]() |

why not just buy a $9 portable tire pump air
compressor? Then when you take your spare out, you can fill it up wherever you happen to be? Or if you have a slow leak you can just fill up the tire and drive to the nearest tire repair shop. Mine fits under the trunk thing, along with a $10 bottle jack that works a billion times better than that cheapass scissor jack they give you. unless its minus 90 outside... Then I stickto the scissor jack. t |

They are nice, but it takes a long long time to reach 60psi! You need
something more heavy duty. Plus, when you get a flat in a 'bad' area, you don't want to spend pumping up the spare when someone can rear end you. true enough regarding the 'bad area' thing. I
don't tend to think that way much since I am in Canada... lol a coy canadian... My compressor gets my spare up to 60 psi from almost nothing (15 psi) in about a minute and a half. t |

toss in some rags and a 1/2 used bottle of hand cleaner........
Never know when you might be a saint and change a older persons tire and need to clean your hands a bit. Wait, there are still people like me that will stop to help???????? Yes, there are a few "road saints" left to help the needy. I will only accept money if the person throws it on the ground. My good deed for the day/year/etc, but not gonna let a $20 bill just blow away!
