Hi All,
After lurking here for a while, I'm going to take care of the final paperwork on a 2005 Civic Sedan LX (auto trans). Yeah! Now the new paranoia. Any thoughts on things like an autolock (attaches to the break) or the lawman's car bar (which also wraps the airbag)? I know they are all susceptible to the average thief, and was thinking that I wanted something to either keep my car from moving or create a hassle around the steering wheel and protect the airbag. Any sites with independent reviews (google didn't help, but maybe I was asking the wrong the question)? Or thoughts on some alternative manufactures or models or ideas? Your opinions are appreciated. Was wondering about that. Thanks for the input. I'm in the NE so I was looking at some weathertec all-season mats and the trunk liner. > get the factory alarm, and keep the factory stereo in there. most cars > get broken into because theyre moving surround sound theaters, with > multiple screens, etc. > Went for the alarm in the end. Hope the immobilizer lives up to the hype. I have more faith in that than the noise everyone ignores! Stock radio is fine with me, and I don't need my car to hop in rhythm across the roadbed! > keep sunglasses, CDs, cellphones, PDAs, Ipods, etc out of sight or on you. Fer sure. Thanks for the input. |
