Probably based on the Pilot/Ody platform, no? Looks interesting, but I wonder about that bed-based 'trunk' and crap getting into it, you'd think that it'd fill up with debris over time, have enough of that happen in normal trunks let alone a bed of a truck.. A lot of people seem to complain about the high sides on the bed. Overall I don't care for the way some of the dashes are going these days with the faux metal trim pieces, the Pilot was getting a little annoying to me but I bit the bullet and got one anyhow. -- Chris A. I figured the Ridgeline would be competing with the Tundra and Titan more than Dodges to keep Accord and Acura drivers in the Honda family. I don't know if the sales figures match up to what I see on the road but most Tundras I've seen on the road are extended cabs, very few crew cabs, but the few Titans were crew cabs. |

I'm not a truck guy, but the Ridgeline does not appear to be a crew cab, extended, yes; crew, no. It is also not built on a shared chassis. It is a unit body set on a boxed frame. Check out www.vtec.net and www.honda.com . The bed looks shorter than it is because of the 4 door cabin and the almost Avalanche like sails. -- Kent Finnell From the Music City USA |
