My daughter just got a 2001 Civic for Christmas. Today some kid rubbed
it in the High School parking lot and broke the passenger-side tail light lense. I'd like to replace it and I can get a new OEM light assembly for about $116. My question is, can I replace this myself without a lot of trouble? It doesn't look hard -- three or four nuts and a couple of bulb sockets, but looks can be deceiving and the Chilton's manual for this year model isn't out yet. Is it as easy as it looks or are there hidden "gotcha's"? Thanks. -- Mark E. I'm a chick and I was able to change out my back lights with just a few D'ohs! along the way. Mostly due to inattention. |
