i've got a problem with my 2000 honda civic speedometer. while i'm
driving, it will occasionally drop down to 30 km/hr while i'm driving. when i come to a complete stop it will wobble down to 20 km/hr. if i inch forward by a meter it will move up to 30 and then forward a bit more it will drop back to 20. when i start to speed up after a stop it will stay at a steady 30 but then a few minutes later suddenly go back to the actual speed i'm going. at the next stop it may go down to 0. any ideas on what this is and what can be done to fix it? i've never posted here before. i'm located in calgary, alberta and the weather here is quite extreme. it was -30 celcius a few days ago and today it is above freezing. thx, keefer. |
