I have a '93 Prelude and was wondering if anyone has ever seen a
custom job done on the rear seat (to this or any other car) to put hinges on the bottom and clips on top to allow the seat to push forward, thus extending the boot space like a hatchback. The Prelude really sucks for transporting things like surf boards ! Chris. |

Have one, (thule roof bars). The bars are about a foot apart and just
about handle a kiteboard. The short roof means bars have limited support, so a roofbox is out of the question, as is carrying long surfboards. Bars are a pain in the ass with wind noise & resistance. There is already a hole for golf clubs as standard (one seat pushes forward). I'm thinking of making this hole bigger so I can fit my board through. I want to be able to through the gear in the back and go, not spend 15 mins attaching bars and strapping things on. |
