I recently purchased a 1991 Honda civic wagon and drove it home approx. 60
miles, the car ran fine. The next day it started ok and later started
jerking when driving it, however the next day and thereafter the car will
start for about 1 second and then immediately quit running. It will start
and quit each time I try to start it , but will never continue running. If
you have any experinence with this problem please help me...thanks

get the code from the computer - under the carpet of the passenger
footwell. turn the ignition on, count how many times the led flashes,
then report back.

Most likely culprits at this point are the EFI main relay and the ignition
switch.
