Good luck.
My Check Engine light on my 00 CRV came on and it cost me $1700 in valve
repairs!!!
On the Hondasuv.com website there is a method described for shorting the
blue diagnostic plug with a paperclip and reading the blinking light to get
your code. BTW, once you know the code number, you need to find out what
the number means.

mileage? were the valves adjusted at 30k? are they supposed to be? dunno.
