My head lights, reverse and tail lights work but all the other lights won't
coime on. Is there a relay for that? I tried all the fuses and can't find any problems anywhere. The turn signal work too so, I know that power is getting to these lights. Any ideas? Thanks |

When you say "tail lights", do you mean the brake lights or do you mean the rear parking / marker lights? If you meant brake lights, I t would seem that the problem could be the light switch (different set of contacts for headlights and marker lights). |

Light switch as in "brake light switch" under the steering and above the brake pedal. Probably out of adjustment or likely a blown 20A fuse, which typically only supplies brake lights. |

However, the subject line is "marker lights won't come on", and the poster says his tail lights *are* working. If by "tail lights" he means "brake lights", then the brake lights are working and the brake pedal switch is fine. In that case the most likely fault is the light switch. It has one set of contacts for the front and rear marker lights and all the dash lights and a separate set of contacts for the head lights. It is not uncommon for the switch to develop a problem with one set of contacts and not the other. Often a good cleaning of the switch internals will fix the problem. |
