I have a similar problem too, but the water in my car accumulates on
the floor in front of the right hand side back seat. It seems to only happen because of rain. It seems to me that driving through puddles is enough to get water inside. And keeping my car still (not driven) under rain is also enough. I've never seen water on the walls or doors. I've tried to run water on the car with a hose, but I haven't noticed water coming in. Perhaps, it gets in from the bottom. |

I had this problem with my '95 Passport. Ended up ripping up the carpeting
in the car and finding water everywhere. Apparently someone had installed and later removed an amplifier or something, and installed it with self-tapping sheet metal screws (my best guess). When they removed the unit, it left nice big holes which let water infiltrate when driving the vehicle. The moist carpeting and wet underlayment caused the inside fo the car to fog up greatly. I ended up removing the old underlayment, replacing it with new dry stuff, cleaned the carpeting, filled the holes with industrial strength automotive caulking, replaced everything and now the car's great. When the car was "apart", I ran all new speaker and power wiring under the carpeting before I replaced everything as this was the best time to do this job. So, if I want to trick out the sound system in the futuer, the wiring's there for my needs. Yes Curly is correct. If you taillights are leaking in water, it will
fall down to the spare tire well and if there is enough water accumulating it will end in your back seat and floor. Happened to my Integra.
