Re: 92 Accord LX 2 door 4cyl automatic.
My daughter rear-ended someone and the airbag deployed. After I removed and replaced the radiator and fan, I went to finally start it up and I find that I have no power..at all. I tried to jump start the car but still have no power at all. Any suggestions? Help! |

Hi
No power at all (radio, lights, etc)? One of the wires from the battery (power or ground) must have gotten loose in one of its path to the fuse box or chassis, respectively. You'll need a multimeter for the following: First check 12V on the battery, holding both probes on the battery. If you detect 12V, move the positive to one of the fuses (doesn't matter which, since you don't have power anywhere), while still holding the negative lead on the battery. If you're still reading a voltage on the meter, move the negative meter lead to the chassis. At some point you will not see 12V and you should be able to see which (power or ground) connection got jossled loose during the accident. Hope you find it soon. Remco |

What does 'no power' mean? The engine won't turn over? Check the battery. The engine turns over, but won't start? This car may have an emergency shut-off for the fuel pump. Reset it. The car starts, but has little power? Need more info. Dan (This account is not used for email.) You should also check the wires too and from the battery. ---------- Alex |

Main fuse? Probably 70 amp or something in the under hood fuse box.
