I have a 1990 manual transmission Honda Accord. I recently (2-3 weeks
ago) had the drivers side front half-axle replaced after the outer CV joint failed. Tonight, while driving home I applied my breaks and began making a turn to the left, when a loud bang came from the front, what I thought was the drivers side. Along with this noise, I also lost all pressure in the brake pedal, and had a rumbling noise coming from the front of the car. Now my question is this: What could have caused all of this to happen? Was something screwed up when the half-axle was repaced? |
