Default Rear wiper refill for Civic Hatchback

Does anyone know where you can get a rear wiper refill for a Civic Hatchback.
I don't have the little metal strip that you need to use with a OEM Honda
refill (who's bonehead idea was THAT?). Before I've always been able to
find one that just slid right in. All that seems to be available now is
replacements for the entire wiper arm.

Thanks for pointers! :-)

i like that bonehead idea

how much are the metal strips?

i havent really been able to find anything that works as well as an OEM
rubber refill, but i havent done a lot of research on the matter.

ive dicked around with enough replacement arms and triple edge blades to
know that either they work well right away, or they dont.

first time i did the OEM rubber replacement, it worked right away.

Woudn't surprise me if they sell them separately.

However, last time I checked, the entire blade holder and blade rubber
assembly was $35 new. Hardly a bank breaker. And you may find that the new
blade holder is a lot less loose and wiggly than the old one. The pins that
hold them together do wear over time.

That way you get those two neat metal strips back.

Funny that. Do you suppose the engineers might have known what they were
doing?
