I have a 2001 Odyssey with ~50K miles. About a week ago, the fuel
gauge started failing intermittently. About 2/3 of the time, it reads empty, or close to it. Are there any known issues with this? I remember reading that a few months ago Shell had a problem with gas in the southern states causing fuel gauges to fail. While I do use Shell gas almost exclusively, those incidents were several months ago, and I live in the midwest (central Ohio). I don't suppose a fuel gauge would be considered part of the drive train or emission systems, and subject to an extended warranty ;-) Thanks |

Check the connector on the top of the tank. It may be corroding. There was a
recall on some 04 models to check it. "Eric Goldsmith" <eric@goldsmithgroup.org> wrote in message news:32eb490b.0410171907.2e1d5ba9@posting.google.c om... >I have a 2001 Odyssey with ~50K miles. See if anything changes. Read owner's manual for explanation. Cheap experiment. 'Curly' |
