Greetings.
Just a little personal experience to share: In order to change the low beam lamps in the current generation Accords, it is necessary to bend back the plastic fender liner. To do so, you have to remove two "trim clips", small round plastic studs that behave like wall anchors: you pop the center disk out, using a flat blade screwdriver, to allow the three prongs of the clip to fold, allowing it to be removed. That would be fine, except it rarely works. The center disk is too soft, and tends to bend and get chewed up when pried. To top it off, the plastic prongs have a tendency to snap off during removal, rendering the clip useless. I found replacements online from Majestic Honda. The part number is: 91512-SX0-003 CLIP, FENDER (INNER). They cost me $1.54 each. If anyone has an idea for replacement hardware for this "one-time" clip, please let me know... --Gene |
