Hi,

Let me describe it- 4 cylinder, 4 door, at, cd, sun, perfect condition. Car has 38K miles. I am located in North Eastern part of USA Ive been trying to sell the car- have it listed for 12800- havent got any offers, is this too high? I also dont want to give it away for nothing! Thanks!! Then do the same thing at kbb.com for a second opinion. |

Also, check out Autotrader.com for your zip code and see what price the
competition is selling their vehicle. Look for the private seller ads as the stealerships are always way overpriced in the listings. Bear in mind selling a vehicle in that price range and up can be difficult. Under $10K seems to be an easier sell. e52.meyer0SPAM@ieee.org (E.*Meyer) wrote: On 9/15/04 2:08 PM, in article 8b02124.0409151108.6f8e60fe@posting.google.com, "KOS" <computerstuff2@excite.com> wrote: Hi, I have a question about my 2000 Honda Accord EX. What I see around here (Dallas) is that the ads in the paper have been taken
over by the fly-by-night unlicensed used car people. Every time I have gone to look at a car in the ads it has turned out to be a guy in an unfurnished one bedroom apartment with 5 or 6 cars in the parking lot that look like they have been used as outhouses. I think people are giving up on the ads and just going to the dealers. I have also tried advertising cars a couple of times in the past decade and did not get a single call from a prospective buyer, but I was barraged by people who would be more than happy to sell it for me on their consignment lot. I did sell one car on a consignment lot. That worked. Maybe thatıs what you have to do to sell a car today.
