1995 Odyssey will turn over and attempt to start but then cuts off. There
is fuel and pressure at the fuel rail, but I did not hear the fuel pump spool up. Does this sound like a "main relay" candidate that I have read about? If so, where is it located and what pins need to be shorted to bypass it? 1 to 3 and 5 to 7? Thanks in advance for any input. Talley |

If it runs until you release the key back from start to run, that is a symptom of a bad switch. It attaches to the back of the key cylinder with two small screws. Pop it open (don't lose the little springs) and see what the contacts look like. You will probably find them burnt. If there is pressure at the rail after cranking, I think the fuel pump has to be getting energized. The pressure at the rail bleeds down very quickly if you crank it without the pump working. |

That's probably it. I had noticed that it would "Start" as long as the key
was held in the crank position. It just surprizes me that it would go out suddenly like this. Will pull apart and keep you informed. Thanks, Talley |
