I'd like to install a receiver hitch onto a 4dr 2003 Accord EX-V6 that would
carry a bike rack for two adult bikes. I found a hitch that seems to do the
trick -

Only thing is, they have a little add-on disclaimer that says "Heat shields
require drilling on V6 models". I am not sure what these heat shields are
and where/how they attach, other than the obvious, but I am also a bit
reluctant to drill the frame or anything else the hitch may attach to on the
car body. But if I have to drill, I wanted to see if anyone had any luck
installing this, or any other hitch for the same purpose on a 2003-2004 V6
models?
