Honda Car Forum

Does anyone recommend any Honda mechanics in the Austin, TX area? I just moved here and I want to find a mechanic that I can trust before something bad happens. Thanks.

I've had moderately good luck with First Texas Honda on Kenig Ln.
I can't say I ever *trusted* them with anything, but my experience with
them was better than with other places (they did what I wanted them
to do and nothing else). I would disrecommend Flamingo Automotive
on Guadalupe and Lamb's on Far West -- these were two other places
I tried. Good luck in your search and have fun in Austin, it's a great
place to live (but I'm not sure what your Honda's opinion will be about it) :-)

Gunn Honda in San Antonio is wonderful. I drive all the way from
Corpus Christi to use them. Austin is a lot closer. Try 'em; you'll
like 'em!
