I've found some prestone near the front right tire. Seems to come from
the overflow. The level is still high in the container. Weird, haven't done anything since and no trace of leak. What could have happen? Honda accord 1997 EX I-4 Cheers Fred |

Overall radiator temp is a bit higher, thus more expansion. Where is the overflow level when the engine is cold. I would definitely keep an eye on things though. |

What could have happen? No sign of overheating? Check your radiator for leaks. If nothing obvious, I'd start by replacing the radiator cap with a genuine Honda one. You'll probably have to tell the parts guy which make of radiator you have and/or the pressure marked on the old cap. The coolant level in the reservoir is supposed to go to Max when hot and when the engine is cold, it's usually around 1/2-way between Max and Min marks. I'm always coming across little puddles of coolants that belongs to other
cars. Normally, if the leaks from your own car, you'll get that 'burnt coolant smell' coming into the compartment when the vent's on 'fresh'. Or you should be able to see visual signs of the leak from under the car. Pars POTISH wrote: > I've found some prestone near the front right tire. Seems to come from > the overflow.
