My 1991 Accord is acting overheating problem over 40 MPH. The temperature
gauge rises to almost red indicator at highway speed, over 55MPH. I already changed the thermostat and bleed the coolant air bubbles. The symptom happens at hot environment; I notice the coolant boiling in the reservoir with many bubbles and create a very high pressure to push the coolant out of reservoir. I am wondering can anyone suggest the solution to solve this problem. Thanks |

When you make sure the rad AND the reservoir are at the proper level, afterwards does the rad go down and the reservoir go up? -- TeGGeR® The Unofficial Honda FAQ http://www3.telus.net/public/johnings/faq.html How to find anything on the Internet or in Usenet Groups: www.google.com www.groups.google.com |

I check my car while the engine is warm. Both radiator coolant level is low
and the reservoir is empty while I check the reservoir yesterday morning before I drove the car is at max level. I am wondering if there has air bubbles in coolant, will it act the symtom like that? A friend of mine had a Triumph that overheated regularly. The problem went away when he changed the oil! Dan (This account is not used for email.)
