I just bought a used 92 dx, which only comes with 2 front speaker
places. Is this normal for some Dx's, or did the guy who owned it somehow get rid of the rear speakers. I took apart the rear paneling and could find no speaker wires whatsoever. Information would be appreciated! Alex |

DX HB??????
The wires are there, WAY down in the bottom. You used to be able to buy the rear speaker panels from the dealer for about $120, but they are no longer in stock. Might wanna check Ebay. If you are talking hatchback, then two speakers is the norm. As far as I
recall, only the Si hatchback had rear speakers from the factory. You'll need a number of parts to fit speakers in the factory location. Check http://tinyurl.com/3538w, you need: 2 (39113-SR3-000) 3 (39114-SR3-000) 6 (39124-SR3-K00) 8 (39125-SR3-K00) Then check http://tinyurl.com/2ubgo where you'll need: 11 (83738-SR3-K00) 20 (83788-SR3-K01) 9 (83737-SR3-K00ZB = graphite black) 18 (83787-SR3-K00ZB = graphite black) In addition you'll need various screws and bolts and a set of 5 1/4" round speakers. I don't know if the wiring is in the car, remove the side panels and feel around for a pair of wires taped to something in there. I have a set of rear factory speakers from a '94 Si that can be yours for the price of postage. They sound OK but the high frequency response is only so-so. Speakers only, none of the other hardware included. Post a valid e-mail address if you are interested and I'll contact you. needshelp wrote: > > I just bought a used 92 dx, which only comes with 2 front speaker > places.
