radio works sometimes when i fidget with the electric antenna. otherwise is
says no cd. I don't have a cd player. I would like to be able to use my
radio and tape player. They are stock, and sound really good, the few
times they work.

I'll bet if you pick up a cheap aftermarket cd player it will sound better.
