Hi,

Does anyone know if it's possible to pipe the DVD sound to the speaker
system? The Salesman told us we could, but for the life of me, I
can't figure out how....

According to the manual you can't. Go back to the salesman and have him show
you how....

Turn the front source to DVD.

Voila.

To get the rear speakers going as well, turn the rear power off.

The DVD system comes with a training DVD. Ask the salesman to see it.
