The front beam in my trusty '78 Honda Civic (1200, 3-door, just
passed 100,000 miles) needs to be replaced. That's the cross beam in front that supports the radius rods and the stabilizer bar. I couldn't find anything that old in the local junk yards. I hoped to have to spend $20-30, but the dealers want $250 (probably, to pay for the shipping from Japan?). Hopefully, there is someone in this news group who knows of some sources or has a clunker in his back yard. Thanks for any suggestions. Alex |
