What kind of DVD player do you have in your Pilot. My wife wants a drop
down; I think headrest is "cooler" and safer. Does the drop down impair rearview mirror view? Can the people in the back see OK? What sizes screens are working for you? |

For me that would be the biggest selling point. Yes it block some of the rear view mirror view, but that should not be a problem if you are using all of your mirrors. --------------- Alex |

not sure about in pilot, but factory drop down dvd in odyssey blocks very
little from the rear view mirror. Having quiet children in back - now that is safety. The other issue is unless you are planning two seatback monitors, someone will get crummy viewing. Drop down gives the best angle compromise to all viewers. 1 laptop + 1 5-year old + 1 17 month old = 1 broken laptop

For that purpose, there's nothing like factory integration. Too many people want technology for the sake of fiddling with technology, an end in itself. Others want to use it as a tool, a means to an end. |
