Thats probalby all you can do, except take it to an expensive Honda dealer
to get the computer readout< But logically it seems like it needs an
overhaul.|Whats on the speedo?

Default 94 Accord-Transmission Failure

My daughter just called to say her car will not accelerate while in
Drive. Hmmm. I had her check the trans fluid and it is full, but
discolored. She described it as an "orangey brownish" color. Hmmm.
She said the car will "sometimes" accelerate, but as of now, it is
stopped. She didn't hear any noises, didn't see any leaks, or didn't
smell anything burning. Hmmm. Of course, this happens at 6pm on a
Friday. The first thing (and probably the only thing I can try) is to
replace the trans fluid. Any other ideas?

Thanks,

Its probably long overdue for a good service, so the transmission hasnt
lasted as long as it should have. But an overhaul will pay off as theyre a
great car. Must use correct fluids too, and service regularly. Overfilling
is alos a problem, it would seem. My 88 model has done 200K KM and is just
starting to fade.
