Default Maintenance Required Light/Extinguish

I have an 03 Accord LX with 8,000 miles and the Maintenance Required
dash light just illuminated.

Is there an inexpensive way I can extinguish it without purchasing an
exorbitantly priced scanner?

Get out your operator manual and read it. It is usually in it.....

There's a guy named Manual, out in your garage. Ask him.

Or you could look up netiquette, which dictates that you lurk a bit
before asking questions.

Or, you could (GASP!) crack open the owner's manual of your shiny
$22,000 toy and see just how it operates.

Nah--why should you do that? You know how to operate a car, right?

Right.

(Oh, but there's that pesky question about that little yellow light on
the dash...)

My Prelude requires a special tool to reset the light -- a ball point
pen....

Now I know why elmo_shagged_in_the_ass is so nasty when it comes to this
question........ cause he drives a rusted out 11+ year old crap and is
obviously jealous of all these new car owners.

Get him HHR&M. I knew I'd see you on this thread.... good job as always.
Thanks for the smile.

I haven't seen you in a bit. I like the "and Morons" it's good to see you
have expanded to include more people.
