What pads do you have there now? The OEM pads on my '00 Accord were very good in that respect - practically no dust to speak of. On the other hand the OEM pads on my A4 were a dust factory. All it took was an hour of driving and the rims were covered with brake dust. After a week they were literally black. I now replaced them with EBC Green which produce very little dust, but apparently they don't last very long, so if that's a concern you may want to look at something else. Mintex Redbox is another one that produces little to no dust, although I've heard their braking performance isn't all that great, but for just casual daily driving they should be OK. Cheers, Pete |

Don't use the brakes. Seriously, that dust is from braking. No dust=no braking. You want dust. Just clean the wheels. |
