Hey everybody -
I have a '93 accord, and the air conditioner has decided that it doesn't
want to work anymore. The light still comes on if I press the button, but
no cold air, and I can't hear the compressor kick in. Tried jumping it
according to the book, but no luck. Just wondering if anyone has had this
problem, or if anyone has any possible solutions. I'm kind of bracing for
the worst, but hoping for the best. Thanks in advance for any help.

If coolant is low, compressor won't cut in, as I understand it, but why
the coolant is low is another question.

What's the history?

I Had that trouble when I got my accord. I got it re-gassed and it was ok
for a couple of days then it wouldn't get cold. when I took it back to
garage they discovered it had a leak in the condenser unit they quoted
me£180-00 plus fitting. in the end I got one second hand and guaranteed for
3 months for £60
