Hi there, I hope that someone can help. I have a 99 accord (UK) ES.
It had the bose system in it, I replaced this 2 years back with a alpine head unit and changer. recently, the audio has gone from the head unit. I immediatly blamed the alpine, but I then remembered that the internal speakers are amp'd in some way. Could something have blown on the honda's amp as apposed to the alpine? I have come across some postings indicating that the internal amp under the rear shelf is just for the bass speaker mounted in the middle of the rear - can someone tell me if this is correct or if it feeds all the speakers? there is no haynes manual (only for the US) so I am left wondering... thanks for any help regards Jon Paterson |
