I tried to find a auto body repair group to no avail. So if anybody
knows of one I would appreciate if you would post it, although I think my question can be answered here. I have a 95 Accord that I bought used in 97. At one time it had a rear spoiler on it and before I bought the car it was taken off and the rear deck lid was repainted. I can tell because of the bondo filled holes on the inside of the trunk. Just recently the clearcoat has started to flake off right where one of the holes were filled, very small at first, and now it is about the size of a quarter. I want to repair this myself by wet sanding the area that is flaking and some of the surrounding area and then use some clear coat in a can. What grit sandpaper do I need to use and can anyone recommend a very good brand of auto clearcoat in a can to use? |
