Default SRS Light on Civic 92-95 models

Hi,

My Civic is driving me mad !!!! the SRS light is on and I can't reset it.

I looked at the DIY pages ( www.7thgencivic.com) bud they only covers the
models from 99-> and my Civic are from 95.

My local Honda dealer says the SRS unit needs to be replaced - (850$!!!) ok
that's a lot of money for a 10 year old Civic - even in Denmark!! I then
bought a used SRS unit and installed it - but then the SRS light starts
flashing continuously.

I tried to disable the airbags and the LED stops flashing - The error code
is now 2-1 + 1-2 (airbag disabled) - ok, the SRS unit is working !!!!

Now I want to reset the error codes in the SRS - I searched Google and
found a guide - "Short the SRS service connector under the fuse box - turn
the ignition on for 30 secs. then off for 30 secs - repeat this 3 or 4
times - bud it doesn't work !!! The SRS light is on for the the 30 secs
(not flashing or anything) bud this dos not clear the SRS memory.

I then payed Honda a visit again - the mechanic used the service connector
for 10 seconds - "no sorry I can't reset it - you need a new SRS" - well
this is a "new " one - "well is broken too" - ok he wants to sell me a new
SRS unit !!!!!!

Dos anyone know how to reset my old SRS unit - pleeease help (-:

The Civic: 1,5 LSI is from 95 (model 92->95) with double airbags. The models
from 92-94 has only one airbag. Details sn: HMEG43500. Engine 1.5C4K - D15B2

Check your e-mail for scans from the service manual.
