Default Re: Want to buy a civic

If you want your Civic to look like a sport car, any 2 dr from 1993 would do.
However, if you want your Civic to act like a sports car, I'd get a 1996 model.
The older models also had the double wishbone up front, but their chassis are
not as robust as the 96 model.

Modify the current/new Civic will improve handling (at the expense of winter
performance). However, I doubt it would be able to attain the lofty 'sport car
like handling' designation. That being said, I have yet to encounter a car that
has better handling characteristic (for the streets) then my tweaked 98 Hatch.
The only thing that comes close is my my friend's Celica GTS which is sporting
TRD springs.
