This is so much better! Just how much force does it take to pop the clock off the dash? I quit my first attempt for fear of breaking something. I inserted a small screwdriver at the bottom between the dash surround and the block of plastic that holds the clock and the 4-way flasher and tried to pry it upwards. It gave some, but it was not willing to pop free without additional force that I was reluctant to apply . . . George gearlnospamno@nospamcomcast.net |

Ok, that's what I was doing, but it didn't seem to want to come loose, it creaked and groaned like something was about to break . . . I'll give it another shot. Thanks! Can't pry on just the clock assembly itself because the clock appears behind a small window in a plastic assembly that also includes the 4-way flasher. The whole thing is about 2 1/2" wide by about 3 1/2" tall and it sits between the two center dash vents. There is no place around the clock window to pry, so it looks like that whole piece of plastic has to come off. I need to try to find a shop manual that has diagrams . . . No no, that's correct. It all comes out, and behind the assembly is the connector for the flashers as well as the clock. But it does just pry right out with about no force. But the clock/flasher assembly does snug into a frame, which you don't want to be prying on. |

Just did it...pry it from the sides, lift one side and them the other
watched a Honda mechanic do it... tried it myself takes 2 minutes to do.
