The car has about 184Kmiles. What I have noticed is that if you rock
the trans from drive to reverse with the brake firmly engaged, when going into drive, there is a slight "clack" as it seems to engage, and then about two seconds later, you feel what seems to be the tranny engaging for real. Then when you switch to reverse, you get a load smack, and a harsh engagement almost immediately. The symptoms repeat as long as you do that. Once in gear, everything runs / shifts fine, with no other problems. Anyone experienced this, and what ended up bing the cure? Or is the tranny about to dump? Thanks for any info provided. |
