I have oil leaking in my engine. it seems to be sprayed slightly in the
area over the oil dipstick (on the hood inside) as well as to the left
of the valve cover, on the block under a motor that is there.

What is the cure?

Get the valve cover gasket and/or distributor o-ring replaced.

I did replaced gasket and o-ring. It has little oil leak since I
replaced. just little. I believe I did not tightening the valve or
o-ring.
Not only replacing is imporant, the right torque most be apply.
