I know there are a million posts about this so I'll keep it brief.
The tranny in my 98 Accord EX V6 is on its way out (worsening slipping) and AHM has agreed to replace it for $1500 all inclusive as opposed to $4500 + $1000 installation. Kudos to Honda. My question to those of you who have had theirs replaced and I'm sure there are many of you: I would just like to know how the Honda reman tranny is compared to the original (before it was toast), in such areas as reliability, shifting, smoothness etc. Honda warranties the replacement for 3/36 so I'm comfortable with that. Thanks, Matthew |
